But frankly I haven't listened to any vinyl record in years, and my turntable isn't even connected to an amp anymore because I went completely digital and haven't owned a regular stereo set in years. The albums took up 3 ft of shelf space in my living room, and now that Joey is moving in we just need to make some more space for her stuff. <br /><br />I still love the huge covers though. Album art these days is just not what it used to be.cybergabihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11046481296417994068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8276394445294788649.post-55330395374070694462010-08-24T16:14:20.040-04:002010-08-24T16:14:20.040-04:00I might have missed being a teenager in vinyl'...I might have missed being a teenager in vinyl's heyday, but my family always maintained a huge collection, so I still feel like I grew up on it. I thought the huge poster-sized inserts were so exotic and exciting. Plus, there's just some thing so tangible about the music that way. I even miss my CDs for that reason. I used to lend out my CDs, but not the inserts, particularly if they had photos and lyrics. I have an album of just the booklets and inserts somewhere.<br /><br />"Thunder Road" is indisputably the best song ever, so I trust your judgment.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738377880145008895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8276394445294788649.post-64385572776341017332010-08-24T14:21:30.232-04:002010-08-24T14:21:30.232-04:00I sooooooo00 miss vinyl...*sad sigh*I sooooooo00 miss vinyl...*sad sigh*Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
