crOw
O, a long winter
watching the crows
ballet dancers
on the wind
O, out the window
only place she goes
carried safely
on their wings
but they won’t share their secrets
shred all the evidence
they won’t grant her wishes
O, e minor
the only one who knows
how a girl
can get so old
subtly and swiftly
swallowing the medicine
waiting for a second wind
to blow-ow ow
wOe-o-O
O, do you recognize her
the woman you once knew
holing up
beneath her skin
And will she recognize you
wearing different wings
will she
pull you in?
narcotic ritual
tuned to the barking crows
drowning without waving
Cro-o-ow
Wo-o-ow
Cro-o-ow

completely stunning. your voice is magnificent!
Amazing! Touching.
This is simply beautiful! You are really good!
Gah! I have chills and tears rolling down my cheeks.
I love this so much. I want to listen to it in surround sound really loud with nobody around me and have a great big releasing cry.
I really can't do this justice with a comment. Just amazing. Ethereal and touching and beautiful. Hell yeah.
If you don't mine I think I'll try to figure this song out. S'good, sur-real good.
Wow. That was amazing.
You are certainly multi-talented.
I would buy this album and wear it out yes I would.

Deep! It is most certainly a cry in the wilderness. A stunning reality of man's fragility yet underlying strength that pushes through the pain to be heard. A voice yearning to be heard, unknowingly...desiring to be understood. Beneath it all...hope still and will always exist. Love it, love it, love it! Authentic Leslie!
